In Season 9 our team had the challenge of making a giant spaceship that was littered with infected roots and plague for Olympus' first map update. It was called the "Icarus," and my Art Lead Lewis Walden provided an initial blockout. I refined the exterior, modeling out and adding parts, as well as reusing existing shared textures from our Titanfall/Apex library to bring the creepy ship to life. My coworker Richard Rude, took care of the surrounding terrain and part of the interior ship with additional support from Mike Altamirano. Hans Myaard worked on the giant roots and some concept art support was provided by Danny Gardner. It was a big team effort.
